1. As you can see from both the reading and the movie, myths don't always have exactly the same drama. You are going to focus on the ending of this myth. If you were the storyteller how would you have changed the ending of Narcissus without changing the creation of the Narcissus flower.
2. Your ending has to have a minimum of 5 well developed sentences in a form of a paragraph.
Narcissus had a curse that on reaching the river he saw his reflection and fell in love. Many women were coming to this place just to see him but he just spoke to his reflection hoping that someday he answered. Echo was a nymph that being nosy and conceited he dropped a curse made by nemesis, who was the wife of Zeus. Nemesis envied the beauty of Echo and so cursed.

ReplyDeleteNarcissus was cautivated with his own beauty,but still he knew it was his own so he had to do somenthing to change that. He found a way to stop looking at his own reflection and went looking for love.He never learned to love any of the faries, always thinking of the beauty of his own. At last he gave up, he cound't live with the pain so he went back to the river. There he sat and wait for his dead so he could be in the after life with his own self.And so he died, and with the memorie of his love grew a withe flower with yellow on the center .
Nice...at least he tried to search for love somewhere else even though he couldn't stay away from himself.

Narcissus now experementing love will go out and fall in love. There he will be very happy and experement true love.

Interesting ending...so he couldn't handle everything that was going on and he had a heart attack.
DeleteNarcissus entered the water when he saw his reflection, trying to find his love. He didnt found his love in the water. He wait that the love of his life come out of the water.Narcissus sit in the ground, talking to his reflection that though that was another person. His love never come out and he died waiting for him. Came out a root, in the same place narcissus die.

DeleteNarcissus was running and he stopped when he saw the lake. Narcissus enter in the lake when he saw his own reflexion on the water. He thinks that the reflexion that he saw was going to came out of the lake. The reflexion of Narcissus never came out of the lake and he was waiting hes truly love. He died waiting for the love of hes life that he live that he think that was another person but was hes self. It grew a leave in memorie of Narcissus.

ReplyDeleteNarcissus looked at himself and fell in love with his own beauty.Then, he waited for his reflection to come out.He got tired of wait for his reflection.So he decided to go into the water and suddenly a giant fish came out and killed him.His body turned into a white flower with yellow in the middle.
That could've happened a fish ended with him. Great!
DeleteNarcissus fell in love with his reflection, and through the course of time he turned old and decrepit. After a few months, his body turned to dust, and from that dust came the flower Narcissus. After the flower died, Narcissus was returned to the lake where he fell in love with his reflection again, and turned into a flower once again. He was condemned to relive his tragedy forever. This was his punishment for making the nymphs suffer.

DeleteWhen Narcissus saw his reflection he fell immediately in love with it, not knowing it was his own. Echo the fairy (nymph or sprite) was one of the many ones that loved him. She was the one that most deeply loved him and hated him at the same time her love was so, that after staying there close to him for a long time she turned into stone. She repeated his words for year. One day Narcissus said: "Pleas my love be with me in this land that is of the living" and Aphrodite heard this call, thinking it was to Echo,Aphrodite gave her life. She at that moment awoke and saw Narcissus about to die. She still remembered the love that she had for him her heart said to her: "If he can not be for you let him be for the earth, for man kind to see the horror of pride,for this little river were his reflection sleeps". She ran (or flew) to the gods,she there pleaded for that the goddess Persephone.So that she could transform Narcissus into a flower for that he could at least be remembered by his beauty. The goddess agreed to doe so, but with one condition that Echo staid with the flower in the forest and repeat the words of humans. Echo with a sad heart said yes. Echo ran back to Narcissus, there he still was but he was in his last second of breath when Echo saw that he was disappearing and a flower was growing there. This flower had white pedals with a yellow center. There Echo in the forest is keeping the flower there in that forest.

DeleteSince that Narcissus was in the forest,Then a woman named Nemesis he designed that Narcissus will not be happy in this world. Since then everyone disappears and Narcissus was so desperate.Narcissus run into the woods.Since then Narcissus was very lonely.Narcissus found a river and he look at the river and drink.Nemesis appears out of nowhere and forwards in o Narcissus meets.Narcissus was so surprise o see Nemesis.Nemesis curse him.Narcissus see the river and jumped into the water.Pass 3 day and Narcissus transformer into a beautiful flower.

DeleteAs Narcissus was able to see the reflection, well he began to feel that he was falling in love but he did not realize it was himself. The fairy really felt love for him. She hated him and loved him both at the same time. It was so much love that she felt for him that after her being there with him for a long time her heart became as ruff as a stone. It became a moment where she awoke and saw Narcissus about to die. At that moment she remembered how much she had loved him that she felt that her heart was talking to her, an said, "If he can not be for you let him be for the earth, for man kind to see the horror of pride,for this little river were his reflection sleeps". When he knows that his get obsessed he never go again to the pool. The weak he goes to the forest and found a flower white and yellow and called Narcissus.

DeleteNarcissus fell in the water. The water had a enchantment that makes him become a merman. Suddenly he begins to sing under the sea, and the Nymphs loved that song except for Echo who hated that song and she kills him with a harpoon. Narcissus grew weaker until he died. The next day the Nymphs found a flower with the colors of his fin which were white and yellow.

ReplyDeleteNarcissus fell in love with his reflection. Days go by and Narcissus dont want to leave himself in the water but he cant even touch himself. He want to leave but his love was so strong for his reflection, so he pray to the Goddess Aphrodite to leave his scent with the reflection in the water so he can leave in peace. Aphrodite seeing the strong love that comes from inside of him she put a tear of Narcissus in the water and a beautiful flower with white pedals and yellow center grows. The most unique and single flower in all the forest was there in the center of the pool so that Narcissus know that he will allways be with his reflection. So he leaves in peace knowing that his reflection will be with him allways. That's why it's called Narcissus Flower.

As he gets out of the river Narcissus is confused and could not explain to him self why he could not touch, hear and be next to his beloved. Narcissus stayed there all day and night. He could not eat, sleep or even hunt because of how sad he was. Narcissus did not understand why he felt that way, he never knew how to love before but he fell in love with his own reflextion. Crying knowing that their love could never happen he transformed into a beautiful flower. It was white as his skin and in the center yellow like his hair. That flower was named after Narcissis and adored by all the goddesses of the kingdom, symbolizing the impossible love that Narcissis had
ReplyDeleteNaricussus was so in love with his own reflection he never wanted to leave its side.He went days and weeks even with out eating till he finally decided it was time to say goodbye. Five hours later he just couldnt resist not seeing the "person" he had fallen in love with. He believed that if he went into the water his own reflection would finally respond to him. But instead he was gone in a blink of an eye and the only witness around was Echo who couldnt say a word.

He finaly accept that his reflection never gonna toak him back and he decide to goo toak with Hera for some help and saw the person ho loves happy. Hera accept but for one condition, he have to die when that happen . He accept and when Hera do a spell the one ho came from the wather was Echo they say "I love you" and they kiss. They die and came true a with flower.

He spent days and nights trying to get the handsome young man to talk back at him. After years of waiting for an answer Narcissus grew old and embittered. A few days later his body turned into a seed. From this seed came a beautiful flower called Narcissus. Every day the nymphs came and sang to the flower. Until one day one of the nymphs decides to rip the flower apart, and by doing that Narcissus spirit was never left in peace. That was Narcissus punishment for falling in love with his own beauty.

Heartbroken because she scared away her one true love, Echo secludes her self in a cave. There she ran in to a mysterious figure. To her surprise it was Medusa, she looked in to her eyes and turned in to stone for ever but her curse lives on. Narcissus ran in to Nemesis in the woods and she cursed him because she was madly in love with him. He couldn't feel love towards anyone so she cursed him so he would suffer the same fate as all of his admirers. Infinite love towards Narcissus (himself). He didn't notice at that moment, but when he found himself face to face with his own reflection he was infatuated. He couldn't move away from his beloved he stayed there until his body was no more and only his essence remained in a form of a beautiful flower on the edge of the pond, lightly dangling above the water still gazing at its beautiful reflection.

Then he walks for hours and felt thirsty. He drinks water in the river where it Echo. The water made him regain his memory and recalled the beauty of Echo and the love that they felt. His love was so great that he could not bear to live without her. In proof of his love grow a beautiful flower in the river.

He spent days trying to see and again Habler young to him when he was with them mismo.Pasaron the years and nothing happened. I hope and got old. A few days later, and his body had become a seed of a flower. This seed was a beautiful flower that called Narciso. Every day the nymphs went to see the flower and sing until they tore the beautiful flower. Narciso's spirit rest in peace.

Narcissus was being chased by women like always and managed to hide next to a lake. He sat down and drank some water and saw the reflection of a women behind him. It was a beatiful girl named Echo the nymph of the lake. Echo could not talk well because she would talk to much and Hera wife of Zeus took her way to speak forever, she could only repeat the final word that a person would speak. Narcissus started to talk to her but he noticed that she was only repeating the final word he said. Thats when he said that she was different from ohter women and then kissed her. After Narcissus kissed her she could speak again and she was all full of joy.

Until one day he decided to give up and leave his only love, so he left the river and he suffer. He got into a deep depresion and could not resist all the suffering, because he was affraid to be alone without his only love the rest of his life. Narcissus went back to the river and his looked at his reflection, but he knew that he couldn't be with his only love wish was himself. Day by day and Narcissus was still on the river looking at hiself until one day he died of a heart attack. As a memory of Narcissus death a beautiful white flower grew by the river where narcissus died.

Narcissus finally broke from his curse and fell in love with the beautiful Echo. Echo saw him and noticed that he was cursed, she snapped him out of his curse. After seeing that Echo helped him Narcissus was so grateful that he gave her his love in return. They stayed living at that lake for the rest of their lives. Before Narcissus death Echo gave him some fary dust so he may live on as a beautiful flower for the rest of his life. Echo helped Narcissus, she snapped him out of his curse and they lived together forever. Thought they turned into flowers, they remained in the same lake together.

Echo got out of the bushes and look at him. He ask her why she was doing that, but he notice that she only could repeat the last words she heard. She wanted to tell him everything so she got a piece of paper and write how all happen. He realized she was a total psycho so he stab her and put her body in a rock that transform her in to rock. He use all his power and died he fell in the pool and transform in to a flower.

She felt sorry for him, and with special powers, decided to give end to the curse. She decided to turned him into a beautiful white and yellow flower, so her enchantment still be there for everyone to appreciated.

When he saw the piranhas he began to swim to the surface. But it was too late because the piranhas ate him. With time some flowers started coming out from the bottom of the lake.

He start to cry, and never move from the place until he die. He start to cry blood, when the blood go to the water it grow a beautiful flower white with a yellow center, and hes body disappear for ever and the flower stay there for ever and ever.
Narcissus was so in love with his own reflection and wanted to always be with him. He got into the water to see if he could reach it. He never found it so he came out of there. Narcissus noticed that when he walked away from the lake he did not see the person who was in love, he wanted to go find the goddess Nemesis to ask him. On the way he met the nymphs and they told him all that had been done Nemesis. So he went to talk to the goddess. She told him that he was going to help, but it was a lie. She took him to the lake and killed him. When he was on the floor a beautiful white flower with yellow center came out of there. It's was called Narcissus

ReplyDeleteAs Narcissus grew up it appeared that the young man was incapable of loving another, loving only himself. Narcissus was so beautiful that a large number of men and women fell in love with him. However, such was his egocentricity that he rejected them all, leaving a trail of broken hearts behind him. Finally, one Narcissu's broken hearted admire persuaded one of the gods to deal with him. Narcissus was cursed in a eternal punishment staring for ever at his own image, reflected in a pool of water. The more he stared, the more desperately he fell in love with himself.The years passed and a strong feeling of desiere had grown, a desiere that cannot be filled. Narcissus felt so lonely and unloved because his loved one wouldn't reciprocate his same feelings that he died of love turning into a white flower with a yellow center.
Narcissus saw his reflection in the water and fell in love right away.He stood there day and night just staring it.He also try to have a conversation with it but he grew angry because he never had a response.He refused to live that spot so the evil goddess Nemesis came and pushed him in the lake and he died. The next day right next to the lake a beautiful white flower with yellow center grew.It was called the Narcissus.

But Nemesis wanted to kill him so he can regreate the thing that he did to Echo. Nemesis throw the curse to him but it din't work. Narcissus went to the river and upon his reflection he fell in love with himself. He talked to his reflection for aa while thinking that it was another human being. Suddenly a man walked out of the river and they walked towards the forest. After they walked for a while they kissed, after they kissed Narcissus turned into a beautiful flower. ReplyDeleteNarcissus after spending hole days with his reflection talking without any response he finally hears a voice. In that moment the sky turns cloudy and he is no longer able to see his reflection and he go away trying to find that voice because he think that it could be his beloved. Looking for the voice he enter to a cave the sound of the voice he heard it was the echo of his own voice. To enter that cave was filled with water and small Ponds where his reflection was everywhere, he was so amazed that he stayed in that place without food or sleep to death. The next day a flower grew exactly in the place he die the flower was named Narcissus which was white with yellow center.

She started crying and her tears broke the stone and she went as fast as she could where the beautiful flower grew. She was still crying and the tears fell on top of the flower and she heard a voice, it was Narcissus. Narcissus told Echo that he needed her help, and Echo ran to the temple to talk to Hera. When Echo arrived at the temple, she defied the word of Hera and spoke more than the three words she was allowed to. Hera got really mad at her and turned her into a flower.
ReplyDeleteNarcissus was so in love with himself that he decided to leave the beautiful young man he saw in the reflection by the water that he was looking. He spent days and nights trying to get the handsome young man to talk back at him but he never heard a respond. After years of waiting for an answer, Narcissus grew very old. In a few days later his body turned into a seed. From that seed came a beautiful flower called Narcissus. Every day that passed they came sang to the flower. Suddenly un day one of the nyhms rip the flower apart and by doing that Narcissus spirit was never left in peace. Then poor Narcissus was punished for falling in love with his own beauty. Then Narcissus and the beauty finally found in love and lived happy.

ReplyDeleteNemsis cure narssiso and he was so afraid that he went to hide in the forest when sodently he ses his refleccion and tride to grab it . Narssiso felt in to the pond and died .A few days later a beuttiful flower blom and every women in town went every day to admire her beuty.
Narcissus and Echo both died. Hera and Nemesis proud of what they did but they don't know that Echo and Narcissus met each other again in another life.Everytime Echo and Narcissus spent time together, Hera hears every night a softly song that angered herself.Nemesis heard the song too.Nemesis went to Hera and told her, but they didn't know what was going on.Every day and every night the song played just because Echo and Narcissus were together in their other lives and Echo was appreciated because all she wanted was to be Narcissus love.
ReplyDeleteRight after Narcissus turned into the beautiful white and yellow flower, Echo broke the stone she was in and she went as fast as she could where the little flower grew. She spent hours crying near the flower. Hera sent one of the nymphs to go look for Echo, but Echo refused to go to the temple. Hera went looking for Echo, and when she found her, she saw how terribly sad Echo was. Hera was touched by seeing one of her nymphs suffered like that, that she made Narcissus be human again, and Narcissus and Echo fell in love and lived happy forever.
